Where Our Funds Come From

By providing hope and positive vision, Optimists bring out the best in youth, and our community!

We are a MN State licensed charitable gaming organization and have 5 sites currently who offer pull tabs, e-tabs, and e-bingo.  If you are a registered non-profit organization whose work positively impacts the children in St. Cloud and the surrounding area, you are eligible to receive a grant.  Each month, grant applications are reviewed and grants are awarded based on net income received in previous months.  Our average award is $500, but larger awards are granted based on the number of youth it impacts, need and scope of request, and whether a club member brings it forward.

How Do We Apply For A Grant?

 

  1. A completed donation request form, accessible at the button below.
  2. A copy of the tax letter stating that you are a recognized non-profit organization. This letter will contain the tax ID number the IRS assigned your organization.
  3. Optional: A presentation to club members at our regular club meeting, a flier or other documents that help tell the story of your organization or program.
